review - ANALOGUE POCKET POUCH by Waterfield
The Waterfield Pocket Pouch ($49 - Link) is an elegant accessory designed to protect the equally luxurious Analog Pocket. Designed to fit comfortably in your bag, it snugly secures the device within its lined interior. Although it doesn't provide intense protection, it's sufficient for shielding against everyday knocks. The pouch stays securely closed due to the embedded magnets, which remain effective even when the pouch is vigorously shaken.
A waterproof zipper reveals a small pocket, lined with a discreet orange fabric. This compartment is spacious enough to accommodate a few cartridges and a USB charging cable, but not a power supply. However, this isn't a significant concern as the Analog Pocket can be charged via almost any USB port. Additionally, the pouch features two small loops on either side of the opening for attaching accessories. Waterfield also offers a leather wrist loop ($15), a carabiner ($3), or a sling strap ($19) for sale.
The pouch is available in six color variations. Each piece is crafted in their San Francisco workshop, demonstrating a commitment to local production. I personally chose the waxed canvas material.
At $49, this is an excellent investment for a product that's not only made in America but also uses high-quality materials. If you need a larger case, Waterfield also provides three other options.
